It was an absolute joy to work with Lisa Bieri from the first time we contacted her to the closing on the sale of our property. She is knowledgeable, forthright, and honest as she provided us with a cost estimate sheet at the beginning of the process, and that's what it cost us. Lisa also provided us with similar listings of area properties in order for us to place a reasonable price on our lot. Karen and I are very grateful to Lisa for all her hard work in finding clients for the property. It has been a long time coming but worth the wait. Lisa was fantastic throughout our entire buying process. As out-of-town buyers, she was very accommodating by taking us through properties via FaceTime. This saved us days of travel and enabled us to get a good first look at properties. After writing an accepted offer, Lisa also kept us up-to-date on approaching deadlines and next steps. We will definitely be giving Lisa Bieri a 5 star PLUS rating! This is the first time we are purchasing property in Door County. We've been wanting to do so for many years and decided now is the time. Being very excited and knowing exactly where we wanted to purchase, we were very disappointed in several of the real estate brokers we started working with. Many of them made us feel like a number and they did not have time for us. Granted, we were not spending millions on a home, but we were still very excited about our purchase. We lost 2 condo sales that would have been perfect for us due to brokers sending us the link, but then not returning our emails and calls for days after (and unfortunately, by that time, the units were gone. And then we somehow had the wonderful opportunity to work with Lisa! She was actually taking over a sale that someone else had started. And thank goodness she did, because Lisa, we found out through our experience, is one of the most knowledgeable real estate brokers in Door County! Probably THE most knowledgeable! She returned our calls and emails immediately. She knew the answers to all of our many questions (and we had lots!) if she did not have an answer, she moved walls to find out what we needed to know. Lisa informed us of what to expect; what we needed to do and when; how forms were to be filled out; and just there to hold our hands as we progressed through all of this. Near the end of the sale, there were some disappointments that came up that she tried very hard to fix for us! It was so very comforting to know that Lisa had our back through this entire process. Not having made a real estate purchase in over 40 years, we just assumed, naively, that you could just call a real estate company and any real estate agent would be there for you.
